Rest for a Weary Soul

The Lord preserves the simple;
I was brought low, and He saved me.

Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. Psalm 116

Going to the Sun Highway, Glacier Park MT

This week I took some much needed and rare time off from both my Construction Job and My Church duties. My wife and I, though her having lived in Montana all her life, and me, most of mine, had never been to Glacier Park before so we decided to just run away and do it. Yellowstone Park is in our back yard and we have been there many times but Glacier is nearly 450 miles and several mountain ranges away. (Yes Montana is a big state.)

So today, I am just sharing some of the beauty I manged to capture in photos while we were there. God is good and we were blessed with a beautiful and refreshing time of glorying in the wonders of creation.

Photos do not do justice to the sheer magnitude of the grandeur, if you ever have a chance to go yourself, I highly recommend it.

I was glad when they said to me,
“Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122
 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121
And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. Mark 3:13
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. John 7:38

Be blessed my friends, God is good and He is still on the throne.
